R&B vocalist Elle Patterson took the plastic wrapper off of their Bandcamp and got it going with their first single “Moody”. The tune combines a certain dramatism with a silky smooth production that beds Elle’s vocal range nicely. The tune is simple but taken care of, with a beat that evolves throughout the tune to enhance the emotional effect of the vocal parts and add sentimental interest. It’s a solid performance that leaves me excited to see what comes next from this project.
