St. Louis punk group The Yeasties put out their sophomore EP “HERE FOR FLESH” on October 4th, 2021, supposedly their last hurrah as a band. In four short songs, the musicians Shannon, Olivia, Bethany, and Shawn create a brash and fun-loving spirit with noisy instrumentals and snarling vocals. Their spooky music was noted on Bandcamp Daily as one of the best punk releases of October 2021, among other bands from around the world. “P-E-R-V-E-R-T”, a cover by an uncovered St. Louis band The Welders from the late 1970s featured in the track list, evokes old styles of The Runaways and The Ramones into a unique and memorable diss song against Pervs with a capital P. You’ll be singing along in no time.
